CEPI, the European Audiovisual Production Association, welcomes Le SPI, le Syndicat des Producteurs Indépendants, as a new member.

Le SPI is joining CEPI’s community of 21 members from 17 European countries, representing independent producers across Europe.

Le SPI exists for 40 years and henceforth, it gathers 450 French independent producer companies of audiovisual works (films, TV documentaries, TV drama, recording of live performances, cartoons, VR...). As a professional union, Le SPI negotiates global agreements with all partners of independent producers.

“Our goal is to protect the independence, diversity and freedom of creation of our producers. Joining CEPI and the European community of independent producers enables Le SPI to be part of the ongoing European debate and reinforce our mission.” Says Emmanuelle Mauger, Deputy Director General at Le SPI.

“We are very happy to welcome Le SPI within the CEPI membership, a growing European community of independent producers. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever that producers have a strong voice to represent them. By joining CEPI, Le SPI contribute to the strengthening of that voice for all producers” says Mathilde Fiquet, Secretary General at CEPI.
