CEPI welcomes the Commission’s Media and Audiovisual Action Plan (MAAP) supporting the industry in its recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic while promoting the digital and sustainable transformation of the industry.
As representatives of approximately 8000 independent production companies in Europe, equivalent to 95% of the entire European audiovisual production industry, we hope that our contribution to the current discussion on the MAAP within the European institution will help policy makers to shape the best strategy for the European Audiovisual sector.
